Before the first day
- Confirm role, schedule, compensation, and reporting relationship in writing
- Collect required employment and payroll information
- Prepare system access, workspace, supplies, and training calendar
- Share dress, conduct, service, safety, and client-communication standards
First week
- Tour the client journey from opening to checkout
- Review sanitation, emergency, privacy, and incident procedures
- Shadow consultations and service documentation
- Practice booking, notes, payments, rebooking, and product recommendations
First 30 days
- Set skill, service-time, rebooking, and experience goals
- Schedule weekly check-ins with specific examples
- Document training completed and gaps remaining
- Confirm the next 60-day development plan
